Seven Laws of Success
We all want success…at least I think we do. It seems a much sought after station in life. What is success? How do we attain to it?

Today is my daughter’s birthday. She is 10, or as I told her first thing this morning…half of 20…whew, that is scary!
Parent trap
Being a parent is a blessing, and a huge responsibility. I often wonder what blind spot may be lurking that will crop up as some crisis situation in the future. I know that I can’t worry about this, but at the same time I feel that to ignore this fact would be negligent. Could it be that what we don’t understand or yet see fully is nothing more than a “parent trap”!
Scheduled success
Have you ever made a daily schedule, you know the kind…5am-get up, 5:01-get coffee, 5:15-pray, 5:45-Bible study, etc. . . .carefully plotting out your day, then in a bold act of courage and determination, you commit to the schedule. Days pass, things are going well. Your schedule is humming along nicely and you feel productive. Then, an extended vacation is taken, or a project around the house comes up that requires hours of your precious time.
". . . for we are not ignorant of his devices."
“Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Cor 2:10-11) Paul wrote these words in follow up to the issue of a man who had committed sexual immorality with his step mother and had been put out of the church (1 Cor 5).
