Last Great Day
The Feast of Tabernacles 2009 has come to a close. The Feast this year was filled with powerful messages. An added element to the Feast was the blessing of service. Serving as the Business Manager at the Feast was an experience I will never forget. It was an opportunity to have a greater impact and to make the Feast enjoyable for all the brethren attending. It was an opportunity to work closely with God’s ministry in a team effort. It was a chance to have direct contact and communication with so many brethren – above and beyond what I feel I have had the opportunity to do in the past – making this Feast a truly unique experience.
Now is the Last Great Day. This seperate feast day, occurring immediately following the Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:36), pictures the time when all who have ever lived and died – not knowing the truth – will be raised from the dead, and they will live again. God will impart His Holy Spirit to them (Ezekiel 37:11-14) and they will be given 100 years (Isaiah 65:20), after the millennial time period, to choose to obey God’s Laws and way of life. This day is a day of hope. Hope for all those not yet being called at this time to get a real first chance at eternal life in God’s Kingdom. What a wonderful time this will be!
