I finally did it. I broke down and got a subscription to the newspaper. Why you ask? I simply got fed up with the seemingly endless amounts of time that can be wasted in trying to scour the headlines presented on the internet news sources.
Thankful for the ordinary
We had a tremendous Thanksgiving with more food than the pilgrims had, I’m sure (if there was any way to know that)! Spending time with the in-laws was relaxing and enjoyable and getting out of town for a few days always has therapeutic benefits.
Ginger’s Hacienda
Nearly complete, the Pomeranian Taj Mahal stands an impressive 16 inches from the ground, decked with decorative scroll work and shimmering gold hinges and latch, this doggy hacienda is home now, after much labor by daughter and dad, to Ginger…aka puppy.
The real McCoy
As I walked around our neighborhood block with my family this evening, the subject of Easter came up. My daughter made the comment as we walked that she had noticed in a store that decorations for Easter were already out and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet! We proceeded then to discuss how it is that Easter is in fact a counterfeit for the Biblical Passover.
