Today marks the 100th anniversary of Mark Twain’s death, April 21, 1910. He was 74 when he passed. A man wracked with failing health and a heavy smoking addiction, Twain lived his life in a manner that is common among those who are without the knowledge of God’s truth and way of life. William Shakespeare is quoted as saying, “O! this learning, what a thing it is.” Do you and I feel this way? Is this how we approach the learning process in our lives. One thing that I’ve seen recently is those senior citizens in nursing homes who continue stay sharp and aware. How do they maintain this, some even into their 90′s? They learn.
